Next generation rehabilitation technology lands in the UK | STEPS Rehabilitation lead the way in new world-class robotic and virtual reality technology
The Independent Neurorehabilitation Providers Alliance (INPA) has become a member of the Neurological Alliance (NA). The Neurological Alliance is a coalition of more than 80 organisations working together to transform outcomes for people with neurological conditions. As members we will be able to jointly campaign for high quality care and support for people with neurological conditions. The NA’s work is shaped by the experiences of people with neurological conditions and aims to address the causes of poor care.
INPA will join the NA’s policy and public affairs groups. INPA’s Chair Lesley Pope said, ‘We are looking forward to working more closely with the Neurological Alliance. Having attended their meetings and observed their work over the past year we have seen how much benefit there is to working in collaboration. As a small organisation membership of the NA will open up more opportunities for us to have our voice heard.’
Georgina Carr, Chief Executive of the Neurological Alliance, said, “We are delighted to have INPA join the Alliance – INPA will provide a unique and valuable perspective to the Neurological Alliance, which will be absolutely vital to ensuring we have the strongest voice possible in campaigning for change. INPA joins us at a critical time. As we collectively look to rebuild after the shock of the COVID-19 pandemic, it has never been more important for us to work together to ensure people can access the best treatment, care and support possible. Through our forthcoming national patient experience survey (My Neuro Survey) and opportunities to exchange and collaborate through our policy and interest groups, we believe we have opportunities to do just that, and very much welcome INPA’s involvement throughout”
