On 14th May our members and executive team gathered at Circle Rehabilitation Birmingham for a day of presentations, networking and discussion.
We took a deep dive into operational issues, opportunities and challenges for neurorehabilitation providers ranging from immigration law to recruitment, occupational health and reputation management.
Attendees also received an update on sector-relevant research from our newly appointed Research Consultant Dr Evelyn Mason, heard more about The Royal College of Psychiatrists quality network for neuropsychiatry and received an update on our continued work with Care Cubed who offer online costing tools for the care sector.
Towards the end of the day members shared their own updates on service provision and we discussed planning for future sessions.
Many thanks to Nick Gore, from Irwin Mitchell, Alex Marsh of Marsh Farmer Associates and Aled Saunders who works with the Harborne Hospital for such informative and thought provoking presentations.
Our executive team have been busy reaching out to new members and introducing our new membership structure. Every member adds something new to our association, strengthening our identity and our ability to make a real difference in the neurorehabilitation sector.
