Become a member of the Independent Neurorehabilitation Providers Alliance

By having a collective voice, INPA can ensure the views and perspectives of the independent neuro-rehabilitation providers are heard.

We contribute to and raise debates on key subjects such as outcome measures, fee structures and regulation for people with neurological conditions.

Our Types of Membership

Inpatient Services

Full Membership

Each service must meet all standards outlined in the accompanying INPA Membership Standards 2025

  • Full membership for companies with one inpatient facility and less than 20 beds – £945 pa
  • Full membership for companies with 20 or more inpatient beds – £1575 pa
  • This will be for one approved facility. Each additional approved inpatient facility will be charged at £262.50 pa per facility up to a maximum of £5,250 pa per organisation

*Each service must have at least 12 months of operational activity.

Associate Membership

This membership category is for new services or for those aiming to develop their specialism.

Each service must meet at least five of the key standards for full membership detailed in INPA Membership Standards 2025. When applying supporting information must be provided to evidence how these standards are being met. Services should be working towards full membership within 2 years. INPA will set up regular reviews to monitor progress towards meeting standards.

Associate membership for companies with one facility and less than 20 beds – £472.50 pa (for a maximum of 2 years). Each additional facility approved for associate membership – £175 pa

Associate membership for companies with 20 or more beds – £787.50 pa for one facility (for a maximum of 2 years). Each additional facility approved for associate membership – £210 pa

*Companies may have some units, which fall under full membership and others, which fall under associate membership.

Outpatient Services

Community Membership – on site/clinic/bed based

Community neurorehabilitation service operating from a physical building and offering multidisciplinary neurorehabilitation £945 pa

These companies offer a variety of disciplines across a range of therapies adhering the INPA standards.

Community Membership – domiciliary

A Community neurorehabilitation company or individual operating in the client’s own environment. This applies to an individual therapist/group of therapists offering one or more disciplines £472.50 pa

Associate Community Membership

Both onsite and domiciliary community memberships have an associate category for new services or for those aiming to develop their specialism £472.50/£236.25pa respectively.

Support Services

Partner Membership

Partners are defined as suppliers of goods and services to neurorehabilitation providers, for example companies providing moving and handling, neurotechnology, communication technology, orthotic or wheelchair equipment. £500pa

  • Inclusion in directory of partners – separate inward-facing webpage
  • Distribution of marketing information to membership – via INPA
  • Access to all INPA meetings (4 per year)
  • Opportunity to provide short talk at meeting over lunch (Talks are not sales meetings/ no hard sell, must demonstrate benefit to the population)
Become an Partner Member

* Members must be registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), Health Inspectorate Wales (HIW) or the Care Inspectorate Scotland (HIS) and comply with their standards for quality and safety.

**The definition of a separate facility will be based on appropriate national regulatory body eg CQC/HIW/HIS but INPA will retain some flexibility.
