Humanising Care: A Creative Approach to Therapy and Rehabilitation

October 11 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm UTC+0
£135

This conference brings together creative arts therapists, educators, medico-legal solicitors, brain injury survivors and rehabilitation professionals to deepen our collective understanding of care that prioritises dignity, agency, and emotional well-being.

Through collaborative presentations, our speakers – art, drama, and music therapists and their clients (experts by experience) – will share real-world case studies, therapeutic innovations, and research-driven insights. Each session highlights how the Creative Arts Therapies bridge the gap between medical and psychological treatment and human experience, offering a more holistic approach to recovery, rebound, rebuild and the overall quality of someone’s life.

  • Brain injury survivors and their families looking for insights into creative rehabilitation pathways
  • Adoption professionals and families seeking a deeper understanding of how creative therapies support attachment, resilience, and long-term well-being
  • Hospital and rehabilitation teams striving for more human-centred care approaches
