We are delighted to announce that three of our members were in the spotlight at the inaugural Neurological and Complex Care Awards, winning awards in no less than five categories.

Run by Care Talk magazine, these awards recognise and celebrate excellence in neurological and complex care, honouring the dedication, compassion, and outstanding contributions of individuals, teams, and organisations that provide high-quality, person-centered care in this specialist field.

The gala event was held at the Hilton London Bankside on 28th October with categories representing all areas of neurological and complex care, highlighting excellence across the health and social care workforce, best practice, dedication and innovation.

INPA member Cygnet Health Care won The Best Neurological Care Provider.

Cygnet were recognised as an evidence-driven neurorehabilitation leader who has embedded strengths-based, holistic MDT pathways across their eight hospitals and two homes. They ensure safe and effective medication optimisation, whilst transforming data into measurable improvements that align with national best practice.

Cygnet Health Care’s Amy Leiter also received a Highly Commended in the Clinician of the Year category.

Castel Froma Neuro Care won The Best Multidisciplinary Team and The Excellence in Occupational Therapy awards.  This professional multidisciplinary team were recognised for their enthusiasm, deep expertise, and seamless collaboration across a multitude of disciplines demonstrating clinical rigour and thoughtful practice to deliver outstanding outcomes for patients.

The Excellence in Occupational Therapy was won by Elizabeth Jackson also from Castel Froma.  Elizabeth is an exceptional and dedicated clinician with a person-centred approach empowering individuals to regain independence and improve quality of life.

In addition, The Innovative Neuro Rehabilitation Program award went to Paolo Tomaselli and the Wellington Hospital, part of the Chroma Group. Judges noted this is outstanding program effectively supports patients and families from diverse cultural backgrounds, fostering collaboration across multiple therapists to ensure coordinated, holistic care.
